Description
The God of Fire Serie B 5-Cigar Sampler brings together the darkest, boldest expression of one of the most exclusive cigar collaborations in the industry — a partnership between the Fuente family’s cigar-making legacy and Prometheus, the accessory maker behind the line’s striking packaging.
Construction & Origin
God of Fire debuted in 2004, hand-rolled entirely at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia in the Dominican Republic and blended personally by Carlito Fuente. Serie B, introduced in 2011 to mark the brand’s 20th year, uses a Dominican long-filler core beneath two different wrappers depending on vitola — a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro on some sizes, an Ecuadorian Sun Grown on others. This sampler includes: 1 Robusto SG (5.2″ x 50), 1 Robusto Gordo SG (5.5″ x 54), 1 Double Robusto Maduro (5.7″ x 52), and 2 Gran Toro Maduro (6″ x 56). Every box carries dual bands — one depicting Prometheus bound and punished by Zeus for stealing fire, the other naming the specific blend and roll year.
Flavor Profile
Medium to full-bodied, reviewers consistently describe rich cocoa, espresso, cedar, and black pepper on the Maduro-wrapped sizes, with the Sun Grown vitolas leaning more toward coffee, earth, leather, and natural sweetness. One longtime reviewer called the blending “fantastic and complex,” praising a cigar approachable enough for newer smokers yet flavorful enough to satisfy veterans.
Why It’s Sought After
God of Fire has been called one of the rarest cigars the Fuente family produces, released in genuinely limited annual batches — most retailers cap Serie B sampler purchases to just one per customer. Between the real scarcity, the mythology-inspired packaging, and Carlito Fuente’s own hand in the blend, this sampler offers a rare, side-by-side taste of one of the most exclusive lines in premium cigars.
