Description
The Davidoff Signature 2000 is a slim corona, about 5 1/16 x 43, with an Ecuadorian wrapper over Dominican filler; published sources split on the binder. Davidoff names it the brand’s top seller around the globe, and 2026 marks fifty years since the 2000 first appeared.
What It Tastes Like
Cigar Aficionado gave the Signature 2000 a 90-point score in June 2026 and placed it at mild-medium strength. The tasters noted an even burn and a balanced, rich smoke built on honey, almond, graham cracker and dried fig. Davidoff’s own profile lists toasted grain, oak, cream, brown sugar, dried fruit and black pepper.

About the Davidoff Signature Line
Davidoff traces the line now called Signature back to 1968. According to Cigar Coop, the 2000 debuted in 1976 within the Mille Series using Cuban leaf; after Davidoff left Cuban tobacco behind in 1991, the 2000 eventually came back as a non-Cuban blend. For the 2026 anniversary, Davidoff added a commemorative seal to the packaging without changing the blend.
Pairing and Storage
For a smoke this delicate, our cigar pairing guide steers mild smokes toward champagne, a light lager or white rum.
