The MBombay Gaaja Toro Natural is the original expression of one of Bombay Tobak’s most celebrated releases — the lighter, natural-wrapper counterpart to the darker Gaaja Maduro.

Construction & Origin

Every Gaaja Natural is hand-rolled at Tabacos de Costa Rica. Where the Maduro version uses a dark Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, this natural expression is finished in an Ecuadorian Connecticut/Cameroon desflorado leaf, layered over an Ecuadorian HVA Mejorado Seco binder and a filler blend drawn from the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, and Paraguay — the same five-country combination across both versions of the blend. In this Toro format, the blend gets extra length to unfold slowly through each third.

Flavor Profile

The lighter Connecticut/Cameroon wrapper gives this version a smoother, more refined profile than its Maduro sibling — expect notes of cedar, cream, light spice, and a gentle sweetness, landing in medium-bodied territory rather than the Maduro’s fuller intensity. It’s an easier, more approachable smoke while still carrying the same aged complexity underneath.
