Rather than let the loss pass unmarked, Fuente named the resulting cigar “Angel’s Share,” borrowing winemaking’s term for the portion of liquid that naturally evaporates from barrels during aging — tradition holds that guardian angels watch over the aging spirit, sample it, and bless it in return. Each Robusto in this tin is a true Dominican puro, handcrafted at the Fuente family’s Dominican Republic factory from vintage estate-grown tobaccos, wrapped in an alluring red-hued leaf.
