The Ferio Tego Generoso, hailing from Nicaragua, is distinguished by its Honduran Shade-Grown wrapper, complemented by Nicaraguan binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Launched in October 2021 by ex-Nat Sherman executives Michael Herklots and Brendon Scott, Ferio Tego is a luxury brand specializing in cigars and related accessories. Marking their debut, they introduced two distinct cigar lines, Elegancia and Generoso, each produced in a separate country. Both lines feature a 6″x 50 Toro vitola and are packaged in a 10-count Travel Humidor box from Humidif. Herklots describes the Elegancia as having “creamier, brighter notes,” contrasting with the Generoso’s “dense, savory notes.”
