“Días de Gloria” means “glory days” in Spanish — AJ Fernandez’s personal tribute to what he considers the finest era of Cuban tobacco, the years before Fidel Castro’s revolution nationalized the island’s cigar industry.

Construction & Origin

Since he couldn’t use Cuban tobacco itself, AJ Fernandez turned to something he knew intimately instead — four of his own estate farms in Estelí, Nicaragua: Finca los Cedros, La Providencia 1, La Lilia, and La Soledad. This Toro (6″ x 56, box-pressed) is a genuine Nicaraguan puro, with binder and filler tobaccos aged up to seven years, methodically set aside from each individual farm specifically for this blend. It’s wrapped in a glistening, reddish-brown Nicaraguan Habano leaf and handcrafted at AJ Fernandez’s own Tabacalera factory in Estelí.
