It pairs an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper with the same Broadleaf-based binder and filler core as the full-bodied M81, producing a medium-full smoke with cream, cocoa, espresso, dark chocolate, and leather.

About the Blackened S84 Shade Robusto

S84 was released as the follow-up to the original M81 Maduro, keeping the same hearty Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan-and-Pennsylvania Broadleaf filler core but swapping the wrapper for Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade. That Broadleaf core underneath a Shade wrapper is what gives S84 more richness and complexity than a typical mild Connecticut cigar. This robusto vitola brings the blend into a fuller 5″ x 50 format.
