Designed as a singular release in three different sizes, the Viaje One Of One series is intended to highlight the individual roller’s skill and doesn’t stick to a set recipe throughout the differing sizes. As with almost all Viaje productions the blends are closely guarded secrets, they kept the factory and origin for these blends a secret but we’re inferring from past releases that it’s produced in Nicaragua. This is a one time release of less than 200 boxes per vitola and VIaje has stated they will never be made again so get yours while they’re available.

Description
The Viaje One of One Outer Edge is one of the most enigmatic releases in Andre Farkas’s already-secretive portfolio — a cigar built on the idea that no two hand-rolled sticks are ever truly identical.
Construction & Origin
This 5¼ x 54 Gran Robusto is one of three vitolas in Viaje’s One of One series (alongside Tailwind and Bulwark), each shipped in boxes of 30 with fewer than 200 boxes produced per size worldwide. True to Viaje’s “black box” tradition, the company has deliberately declined to disclose the wrapper, binder, or filler for this release — the focus instead is on the individual character each roller brings to the tobacco, rather than a specification sheet. Handcrafted in Nicaragua, the series is intended as a true one-time release: no future shipments of this exact blend are planned.
Flavor Profile
Medium-to-full bodied, the Outer Edge shares the same rich, layered profile found across the One of One line — deep dark chocolate, roasted nuts, earth, and warm spice up front, developing into coffee, leather, dried fruit, and pepper as it burns. The shorter Gran Robusto format delivers that same complexity in a more concentrated, faster-building smoke than its larger Tailwind and Bulwark siblings.
Why It’s Sought After
Founded in 2007 on the principle of small-batch, no-repeat releases, Viaje has built its entire reputation on scarcity — and One of One takes that philosophy to its logical extreme. With under 200 boxes of this specific size produced and zero plans for a future run, this is about as close to a truly singular cigar as the boutique world gets.
